Back at the end of November, LMC’s Consultant Urologist Prof Asif Muneer travelled to the beautiful city of Kuching in Sarawak, Borneo for the Malaysian Urological Conference 2025.
The programme delivered was meticulously designed to deliver high-impact scientific content, featuring the latest in clinical practice, technology and research.
The MUC
2025’s MAlaysian Urological Conference was an academically enriching experience, with a carefully curated programme that brought together a diverse panel of local and international experts.
They provided insightful discussions, cutting-edge research and innovative approaches to urology. The conference was professionally inspiring, and gave an excellent opportunity to foster collaboration among urologists, surgeons, oncologists, and allied health professionals from across the region and further afield.
Much More Than Mere Academics
In addition to the academic engagement offered, it was also a wonderful opportunity to immerse oneself in the rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty of Sarawak.
From the lush rainforests to the vibrant traditions of the local communities, there was much to explore and enjoy during time spent here. Professor Muneer was even lucky enough to see orangutans in the wild!
