Last week saw London Men’s Clinic’s Consultant Urological Surgeon and Andrologist Mr Varun Sahdev honoured with the very well-deserved recognition and certification from the Coloplast Centre of Excellence. 

 

What is The Coloplast Centre of Excellence Certification?

 

The Coloplast Centre of Excellence certification is awarded to surgeons who have successfully completed significant amounts of penile implant procedures on an annual basis and demonstrated their deep clinical expertise in the professional education and treatment of erectile dysfunction. 

 

This certification is more than a recognition – it’s about honouring healthcare professionals whose commitment, expertise and actions empower clinical excellence, advance standards of patient care and inspire peers and students around them.

Who is Mr Varun Sahdev?

Mr. Varun Sahdev is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Andrologist at University Hospitals Southampton and an Honorary Consultant at University College London Hospital (UCLH). He specialises in all aspects of general urology, with a sub-specialist interest in andrology and male genital reconstruction. He provides tertiary-level andrology services for the Wessex region and supports the penile cancer service at UCLH.

 

Mr Sahdev is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care. He recognises the sensitive nature of men’s health issues and takes an empathetic approach, ensuring that his patients feel heard and supported throughout their treatment journey.
