What is The Coloplast Centre of Excellence Certification?

 

The Coloplast Centre of Excellence certification is awarded to surgeons who have successfully completed significant amounts of penile implant procedures on an annual basis and demonstrated their deep clinical expertise in the professional education and treatment of erectile dysfunction. 

 

This certification is more than a recognition – it’s about honouring healthcare professionals whose commitment, expertise and actions empower clinical excellence, advance standards of patient care and inspire peers and students around them.

Who is Professor Asif Muneer?

Professor Asif Muneer is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Andrologist based at University College London Hospital. He is also a Professor of Urology and Surgical Andrology at UCL.

 

Professor Asif Muneer has a specialist interest in male infertility, vasectomy reversal, penile prosthesis surgery, Peyronie’s disease, genital oncology & genital reconstruction. As clinical lead for the supraregional penile cancer network, he leads one of the largest genital oncology teams in Europe.
